Pharmacy Technician, Adjunct Instructor

Role Overview

• Train students in the knowledge and competencies required by the profession.
• Support the administration of a pharmacy’s operations.
• Prepare, compound, and dispense medications.

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Pharmacy Technology or a related healthcare field.
• A PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) or ExCPT (Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians
• At least three years of experience in a pharmacy practice setting
• A combination of work experience and/or required credentials in a minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience at the college level; preferably in the proprietary school setting.
