Independently manage full-cycle accounting and client engagements for multiple nonprofit and for-profit organizations
Lead the month-end close process within 5–7 business days, maintaining an error rate of less than 1–2% in financial reports with zero material audit findings
Prepare accurate Journal entries, account reconciliations with zero unresolved variances, and monthly financial statements
Serve as a trusted advisor by maintaining strong client relationships, responding to inquiries within 24 hours, and consistently meeting deadlines to ensure high client satisfaction and retention
Review the work of Staff Accountants, provide guidance and mentorship, and collaborate effectively across teams to share knowledge and best practices
Continuously identify and implement process improvements to reduce the month-end close timeline and enhance operational efficiency across client engagements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
Public accounting experience is highly preferred
CPA candidate or progress toward CPA certification is preferred
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with modern accounting software and financial management systems
