Manager, Systems Engineering

Role Overview

• Assuring viable technical solutions consistent with sales capture strategy
• Crafting high quality proposal documents and technical drawings
• Participating in discussions and presentations with customers and partners
• Working closely with Sales Leaders in the USA to manage proposal workload
• Driving efficiencies & improvements in System Engineering Processes
• Increasing the technical accuracy of bid responses
• Mentoring team members and managing a high-performance culture
• Leading complex problem solving and ensuring compliance with customer requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 9 years prior telecommunications systems design experience
• Graduate Degree with 7 years prior experience
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
• Experience in design of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems (P25, DMR, LTE, etc)
• Experience in managing a cross-functional team virtually with geographically dispersed team members to drive system sales
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to accommodate multiple projects
• Must be self-directed and willing to take initiative.
