About this role
Role Overview
Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with assigned channel partners at all levels of their organization.
Assisting with project quotations, order management, customer training, stock maintenance, and order analysis to position ABB as a preferred vendor.
Developing small contractor accounts in support of your channel partner’s inventory.
Planning and implementing sales strategies to maximize market share and margin with channel partners.
Creating and managing SPAs for strategic partners and end users.
Assisting channel partners with inventory planning.
Planning and leading marketing activities with channel partners.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred, will consider equivalent work experience
5+ years of relevant sales experience
Experience with complex contract negotiations
Demonstrated knowledge of the electrical industry and ABB products
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Six Sigma or equivalent Quality training preferred
Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools
Ability to travel ~50% in the assigned territory
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
