About this role
Role Overview
Lead the development and implementation of short and long-term strategies that align with the company's core objectives.
Help define the roadmap and propose priorities.
Coordinate across multiple project teams, ensuring goals are reached, deadlines are met, and interdependencies are successfully managed.
Help prepare and monitor, and at times actively manage project budgets.
Define and manage necessary labor and time resources to execute solutions as well.
Identify potential risks and issues that could impact solutions’ delivery, developing proactive contingency and risk management plans.
Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives and adjust plans as needed.
Serve as the primary contact between teams, senior management, and external stakeholders, providing regular status updates and performance reports.
Effectively communicate strategy and progress, and answer related questions to audiences ranging up to executive management level.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years in program and strategy management preferably in a warehousing operations environment.
Understanding of operations, preferably in warehouse batching, picking, putaway, handling exceptions, inventory control, and transportation.
Understanding of warehousing systems (WMS, WES, conveyor and sortation MHE, put walls, and automated packaging) and the interactions between them.
Ability to analyze datasets and build planning models to support recommendations.
Ability to help implement systematic and operational changes, and assist in training to the new flow.
Ability to understand and prioritize the impact of system and operational gaps and bottlenecks.
Relationship management, organizational planning and project management skills.
Ability to track multiple active projects and their connected dependencies, as well as the connections of past and future projects.
Ability to influence clients, suppliers, and peers into adopting Best Practices.
Desire for continuous improvement
Improving operations efficiencies by identifying systematic and process changes.
Excellent communication skills
Verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal with the ability to transfer knowledge to others.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
