About this role
Role Overview
Support WW category strategy with insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
Build and maintain a strong understanding of competitors’ portfolios, positioning, pricing, and go‑to‑market strategies
Analyze category and competitive performance to identify opportunities, risks, and implications for the HP portfolio
Support optimization of the Traditional Inkjet hardware portfolio, aligned to customer segments, price tiers, and regional market needs
Provide input on portfolio gaps, overlaps, and differentiation versus competitors
Contribute to WW 4P plans (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) for Consumer and Business Inkjet
Act as a key interface with the Supplies organization to support alignment on strategy, portfolio direction, and priorities
Contribute to integrated system messaging across printers, ink/supplies, and subscriptions
Support integration of subscription considerations into hardware portfolio and GTM discussions
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Supplies, Subscription, and Regional teams
Prepare analysis and materials for business reviews, planning cycles, and leadership discussions
Support tracking and reporting of category KPIs (revenue, margin, market share, units)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
6+ years of experience in Category Management, Product Management, Business Analysis, or Competitive Analysis
Experience working with global teams and multi‑market portfolios preferred
Exposure to supplies and/or subscription‑based business models is a plus
