Create Documentation like Functional specifications and creating source to target mappings
Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and profiling
Validate payer data, including claims, membership, provider, and clinical datasets.
Work with data governance and business teams to resolve data quality issues.
Participates in estimation efforts to formulate and define the scope of IS team deliverables.
Participates in the change management process playing a lead role as needed.
Resolves conflicting/competing needs from different areas of the business, tactfully, and in a way that satisfies all parties.
Requirements
5+ years healthcare payer or payor experience (member, claims, provider, etc.) in a techno functional role. Solid understanding of data governance practices, PII compliance, and data quality frameworks. Understand how processing of data happens in healthcare (could be FACETS, could be PII, EDI transactions, any of the healthcare data flow processes).
Experience creating Source-to-Target mapping
Data Analytics experience with large data sets. Data Profiling, Analysis
Knowledge of standard industry deliverables such as RTMs, FMEAs, and business process maps.
Build the bridge between IT and the customer. Translate the IT technical requirements to the business.
In depth understanding of ETL technologies from a BSA perspective.
Understand the data on the business side of things. Very well versed on the business side
Any Cloud experience
we are on Azure (preferred), but AWS and GCP are also acceptable
Understand the IT change process and SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
how does a code get deployed. Analytics will just build and push to production
but IT has a very specific change process to follow.
Great attitude
8+ years of professional experience focused on business/data analysis, project leadership, and process optimization.
Very strong SQL expertise with the ability to design and optimize complex queries a must
Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau for validating reporting outputs a must
Understanding of data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, IDQ, Informatica, or similar).
