Provide daily supervision of the medical office staff.
Primary contact for VP, Director, or Administrator.
Address or escalate patient concerns and praise, including billing and insurance inquiries.
Schedule front and back-office staff to meet the practice's needs within budgetary parameters.
Monitor and approve employee timekeeping per budget via KRONOS.
Identify and provide development to office staff.
Monitor, order, and maintain appropriate supply levels.
Work with Quality & Safety Manager to incorporate quality measures and patient safety protocols.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Performance Improvement (PI) projects.
Participate in department meetings.
Responsible for staff selection and corrective action process for direct reports.
Provide regular feedback to staff, including formal performance appraisals.
Serve as an EPIC super-user.
Collaborate with Quality, EPIC Trainers, and Leadership to develop protocols and SOPs.
Promote a positive team-oriented culture in line with the mission and values of WVU Medicine.
Ensure staff delivers industry-leading patient care and experience.
Communicate with patients, families, and visitors in a professional manner.
Responsible for staff education in regulatory compliance and healthcare best practices.
