Create structured intervention strategies and wellness plans that address school-related anxiety, executive dysfunction, depression, behavioral challenges, or social-emotional learning (SEL) milestones.
Adapt support in real time based on student crisis levels, engagement, and emotional regulation, providing a safe, empathetic, and confidential virtual space.
Track student progress and communicate effectively with families, school psychologists, and school district partners to ensure wraparound care and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Valid state licensure/certification (e.g., LMHC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or certified School Counselor).
Experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults in a school, clinical, or tele-health setting.
Deep understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and how mental health impacts academic performance.
Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations
Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online
Ability to pass a background check
Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
