The project's goal is to collect images of streets, key landmarks, and public areas.
The project is carried out using cars equipped with 360° cameras mounted on the roof, which capture the area around the vehicle and store the images on onboard computers.
These data are later used to improve one of the world's most popular online maps.
Data collectors are assigned specific routes along public roads and areas, with a focus on commercial districts and historic sites.
Some areas will be revisited when weather conditions are poor to ensure the best possible image quality.
The project is expected to run for at least 8 months and cover multiple city/state zones.
The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows the local area and traffic patterns well, and is highly responsible and reliable.
The expected schedule for the project is Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day, 40 hours per week.
