Independently lead and manage M&A projects, including coordinating internal and external processes, communicating with clients and prospective buyers, and negotiating and coordinating the entire transaction process.
Advise shareholders on matters related to the sale of company shares.
Conduct initial meetings with business owners and provide client support throughout the entire sale process.
Prepare information memoranda, teasers, buyer analyses, management and bank presentations, and other internal and external presentations.
Perform market and company analyses as well as financial and valuation-related assessments.
Prepare pitches to win new mandates and acquire advisory engagements.
Maintain client relationships and participate in trade shows and events.
Drive the further development of the M&A practice and the respective office location.
Lead and develop the team.
Ensure quality control for internal and external projects.
Collaborate with other Directors and Partners on strategic, administrative, and marketing activities, including contributing your own ideas to advance the firm.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of M&A experience at a Big Four firm, investment bank, M&A boutique, or strategy consulting firm.
Several successfully completed M&A transactions.
A confident and professional demeanor and strong negotiation skills, including proficiency in English.
A strong deal-closing mindset and a hands-on approach.
