Conduct monthly closings and related variance analyses
Prepare forecasts and support budget planning
Act as a business partner for management, divisional leadership and specialist departments
Assess and review decisions, participate in and monitor ongoing projects with a focus on targets
Plan and implement commercial projects, including ERP system implementations and BI tools
Prepare and monitor liquidity planning
Compile and deliver KPIs and management reports
Serve as the contact person for subsidiaries on operational and financial controlling matters
Support the Operations function (Purchasing, Supply Chain, Product Development & Quality) with reports and act as the interface between the business units’ needs and the Finance team
Prepare, validate and analyze the monthly reporting package (including P&L management) and present results to the relevant stakeholders
Coordinate the planning and month-end closing processes
Build and further develop controlling functions, including internal reporting systems, P&L management and KPIs
Support the Business Units in short-, medium
and long-term budget planning
Establish and advance topics with a focus on commercially relevant issues, including identifying opportunities to improve profitability and highlighting growth potential
Contribute to and implement digitization, automation and process optimization initiatives
Requirements
Degree in business administration, economics or similar, preferably with a focus on Finance/Controlling
Several years of professional experience in Controlling or sales roles with a Controlling focus; industry experience in retail/trade is an advantage
Very good written and spoken German and English
Versatile, analytical team player with an independent, proactive and particularly operational working style
Strong communication skills across all hierarchy levels, hands‑on mentality, pronounced team orientation and an independent, results‑focused way of working
Confident user of all MS Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge and experience in Business Development, Market Intelligence, Portfolio Management, developing KPI‑based control logic, strategy development, Commercial Excellence and process efficiency
