About this role
Role Overview
Lead, develop and inspire a multidisciplinary design team (UX, UI, Research, Content and Design System), fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement;
Establish and evolve the strategic design vision for digital channels, aligned with business objectives and Sicredi's value proposition;
Implement and operationalize the DesignOps discipline, structuring processes, tools, rituals and metrics that ensure smooth flow from idea conception to experience delivery;
Ensure integration between design and development streams, providing predictable delivery cycles, end-to-end quality and scalability;
Act as guardian of Sicredi's design principles, defining guidelines, standards and references to guide all areas involved in building experiences;
Lead the evolution and governance of the corporate Design System, ensuring adoption, consistency and scalability within a federated development model;
Establish criteria and mechanisms for Design Quality Assurance, ensuring standardization and excellence even with different business areas contributing to the channels' evolution;
Define and monitor experience indicators (NPS, CSAT, usability, journey efficiency) and design maturity metrics, supporting decisions with data and evidence;
Institutionalize user research practices, prototyping and hypothesis validation as the basis for product decision-making;
Coordinate with leaders in Product, Technology, Marketing, Customer Service and Business to ensure strategic alignment and prioritization driven by member experience;
Identify opportunities for innovation in the digital experience by tracking market trends, consumer behavior and emerging technologies;
Serve as a technical and leadership reference in design, mentoring professionals and strengthening Sicredi's design community.
Requirements
Proven experience leading design teams for high-complexity, large-scale digital products with significant impact;
Demonstrated track record in structuring and operationalizing DesignOps, including definition of processes, tools, governance, metrics and culture;
Experience creating, evolving and governing corporate Design Systems, preferably in federated environments or with multiple consuming teams;
Strong command of UX fundamentals, UI, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility and usability;
Strategic mindset with experience building a design vision, roadmap and narrative for executive leadership;
Experience conducting user research, fluent in both qualitative and quantitative methods;
Data-driven orientation with the ability to define, track and communicate experience and design maturity metrics;
Experience working in agile environments and closely collaborating with Product, Engineering and Business teams;
Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate and influence at different organizational levels;
Experience developing people and forming high-performance teams, with a focus on diversity, inclusion and career growth;
Systems thinking, collaborative attitude and a focus on sustainable outcomes;
Bachelor's degree in Design or related fields; postgraduate studies will be considered a plus;
Preferred: prior experience in the financial sector or regulated institutions; experience with products serving large user bases; familiarity with emerging technologies applied to experience (generative AI, conversational design).
