About this role
Role Overview
Supervise a group of employees with responsibility for assignment and flow of work, employee development, appraisal, and eliminating ordinary difficulties.
Maintain electronic data and equipment for CDE.
Schedule staff to maintain coverage on a 24/7 basis, including nights, holidays, weekends and during emergencies; provide day-to-day supervision.
Provide training on the use of computer equipment for bureau employees.
Collect data, analyze, and prepare reports.
Manage financial responsibilities.
Collect incoming property and supplies.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Associate's degree in criminal justice, Public Administration, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in criminal justice/public safety
Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory role
ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800 certifications preferred
DCI certifications preferred
Appointment of North Carolina Notary Public within 6 months of hire
Ability to pass a Division of Criminal Information (DCI) criminal background check which includes being fingerprinted.
