Calling on cattle, horse and small ruminant owners to evaluate existing feeding programs
Recommending and assisting with nutritional programs
Selling/consulting at the farm gate (up to 25 farm calls per week)
Developing new prospects and making sales cold calls
Organizing and conducting effective educational meetings/events for 4H clubs, vets, trainers, etc.

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related agricultural field
Proven sales and industry experience may be considered without a Bachelor's degree
Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations
Understanding of animal husbandry, management practices, and nutritional guidelines
Work/life experience in management and care of dairy
Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office
Ability to be trained on ration balancing software (HerdSmart), Salesforce
