About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for the development and expansion of new business opportunities within established accounts and prospective clients.
Provides leadership for overall business planning.
Identifies and develops sales leads, managing the sales process through contract closure.
Prepares and conducts project-specific client presentations.
Liaises between the client and Company on all sales activities and requirements.
Assists with the development of promotional material for Company recognition.
Works closely with Project Management and Finance to establish strategic partnerships with clients.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a business, science, or related field.
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience selling services in a CRO / pharmaceutical / biotechnology / life sciences industry.
Expert knowledge of the clinical research process and requirements.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Experience with proposal development, contract negotiation and closing a contract.
Ability to learn quickly and assimilate project requirements.
Ability to be flexible and easily multitask.
Strong computer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Prior Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
Travel up to 50%.
