Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview

• Lead monthly close process (record necessary Journal Entries, Accruals, etc.)
• Work with business partners to ensure month-end financials are within expectations
• Build/Consolidate monthly reporting files for freight, warehousing, headcount, scrap, savings, and all other major SC KPI's
• Review actual monthly performance against budgets and provide variance commentary
• Support budget and forecasting cycle and analysis (AOP, 3+9, 6+6, 9+3)
• Serve as primary finance partner to the US Supply Chain Team
• Support Global Supply Chain team as needed to standardize reporting
• Enhance existing reporting tools and models to streamline reporting cycles
• Complete FP&A and Global Ops Finance requests
• Assist with process/continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Familiarity with UK and US GAAP
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills
• Ability to create complex financial models
• Intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills
• Ability to work well in a dynamic environment
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
• University Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience
• 5 years of prior relevant experience in financial & management accounting
• Fully Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) preferred
• Degree Level Qualified (preferably within Accounting or Finance area)
