Role Overview
- Manages Labor Relations Specialists designing, implementing and administering labor relations processes
- Provides senior leadership with recommendations, advice and counsel on Labor Relations policies, strategies and processes
- Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures
- Acquires resources for organizational activities
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, union leaders, and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations
- Experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
- Experience managing and successfully leading HR/Labor Relations strategy and process development and implementation across matrixes teams
- Strong builder of cross-functional relationships
- Capability to design and implement innovations within a collaborative environment
- Capability to attract, manage, and develop high performing teams
- Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience required
