About this role
Role Overview
Develop and implement regional service lifecycle strategies aligned with global GE Healthcare objectives and local market needs
Lead the strategy and execution of upgrade offerings
Act as the regional product leader for service lifecycle and upgrades
Manage the introduction, maintenance, and end-of-life phases of all service offerings for medical equipment across LATAM
Partner closely with commercial teams to drive revenue growth through lifecycle and upgrade opportunities
Serve as the key liaison between LATAM and Global Markets
Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and field service
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for service quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery efficiency and effectiveness
Manage relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Develop and manage the regional service budget, forecasting resource needs and optimizing expenditures
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to service operations in LATAM
Provide leadership to service teams across the region, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify new service and upgrade opportunities and potential threats.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field
Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
Experience in service management, product lifecycle management, or similar roles
Strong technical background in imaging modalities, ideally MRI
Proven experience in commercial or customer-facing roles with the ability to drive business growth
Demonstrated leadership experience (minimum 3 years)
Knowledge of the Latin American healthcare market and regulatory environment
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans and achieve operational and commercial targets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Basic financial acumen to support business case development and lifecycle planning
Fluency in English (required); Spanish and Portuguese are highly desirable
Ability to travel frequently within the LATAM region
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
