Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues
Independently and safely perform repairs and routine maintenance on production equipment
Strictly follow all proper maintenance procedures, GMPs, and safety requirements
Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude in all interactions, setting a standard of reliability and integrity for the team
Complete assigned WO’s and PM’s by target date and with a high attention to detail
Assist operators with operational duties or manual labor as needed
Maintain a high standard for time management and productivity
Determine parts needed for maintenance work and request the parts through the proper channels
Clean and maintain plant areas as needed
Daily maintenance checklist
Perform handyman type jobs; e.g. plumbing, carpentry, painting, assembly, etc as needed
Maintain documentation of work orders and maintenance activities
Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and parts
Learn new processes and maintenance activities as new equipment comes online
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment
Work together with operators to ensure a high level of safety and quality while conducting maintenance activities during operations
Participate in equipment modifications and upgrades as needed
Attend daily shift change meetings and pass along information in MS Teams updates
Maintain a high standard for cleanliness and sanitation for personal and company tools, maintenance shop, and inventory areas
Assist contractors as needed

Requirements
High School diploma or GED. Associates degree or Technical Trade School training is preferred
1-2 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Food related experience is a plus
Maintains a positive and solution focused attitude when addressing maintenance issues
Knowledge and understanding of forklifts and personnel lifts
Ability to make independent decisions concerning the return to service of production equipment.
Proficient in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, cutting tools, rigging, and diagnostic equipment
Intermediate to advanced understanding of electrical & instrumentation systems, and mechanical systems e.g. pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, mixers, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team-oriented environment
Ability to effectively communicate, perform basic to intermediate mathematical calculations, follow written and verbal instructions, and use a computer
Ability to work overtime as required
