Role Overview
- Analyze sales, market and commercial performance data to generate strategic insights that support decision-making;
- Build, track and review commercial forecasts (short, medium and long term), ensuring adherence to business guidelines;
- Define, cascade and monitor commercial targets, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives;
- Monitor and analyze performance KPIs (sell-in, sell-out, revenue, margin, coverage, among others), identifying deviations, trends and opportunities;
- Identify performance gaps and propose structured action plans to drive results and sustainable growth;
- Develop scenario analyses and market studies (competition, pricing, product mix, channels) to support commercial decisions;
- Work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Supply teams to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategies;
- Design dashboards and management reports that provide visibility and continuous tracking of results;
- Conduct performance follow-up routines (e.g., results meetings, forecast rituals and S&OP);
- Support initiatives to optimize commercial processes, seeking greater efficiency, standardization and scalability;
- Produce ad hoc analyses and executive presentations to support tactical and strategic decisions;
- Ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of the data used in analyses.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Statistics or related fields;
- Solid experience in commercial planning, market intelligence or related areas;
- Proficiency in data analysis and in building forecast and target models;
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (advanced Excel, Power BI or similar);
- Knowledge of commercial KPIs and performance metrics (revenue, margin, conversion, etc.);
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights;
- Good communication skills and the ability to interface with multiple areas;
- Strong organization and prioritization skills and the ability to perform in dynamic environments.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with planning tools (e.g., MFP);
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques or predictive models;
- Experience in S&OP processes or integrated planning;
- Experience automating reports and using languages such as SQL or Python;
- Previous experience in retail companies.
