Partner with the US-based Senior Accountant to execute the monthly close, with an initial focus on resolving historical backlogs and bringing 2026 financials current.
Prepare and post standard and complex journal entries, handle accruals, and maintain prepaid amortization schedules in NetSuite.
Perform high-volume, multi-account bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve historical and current discrepancies on time.
Download, format, and reconcile payroll reports from ADP, and prepare corresponding payroll journal entries for accurate GL allocation across departments and markets.
Evaluate current workflows and propose and implement solutions using Excel, Power Query, or NetSuite automations to reduce manual data entry and shorten the close cycle.
Assist with AP processes, including invoice matching, vendor reconciliation, and batch preparation for US-based payment release.
Support leadership with audit preparation, credit card transaction clean-up, system implementations, and special reporting projects as needed.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of active, hands-on experience using NetSuite (mandatory).
Strong, demonstrable understanding of US GAAP, the full month-end close cycle, and complex reconciliations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power Query and dynamic formulas is highly desirable.
Direct experience handling payroll reporting via ADP (highly preferred).
Experience working with or implementing workforce management platforms such as Connecteam (a strong advantage).
Experience managing through a close-cycle backlog is a plus.
Fluent, professional English (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate directly with US-based leadership.
