About this role

Work with the project design leads for AV and lighting to develop comprehensive control systems
Participate in creating drawings, schedules, and specifications packages
Communicate with the design leads and understand the project’s objectives
Work with the design staff to develop project deliverables
Assist in on-site installation supervision, integration, and programming for projects
Provide equipment research and communicate with manufacturers
Attend project meetings and provide meeting agendas and notes
Perform QAQC on all client deliverables
Travel to the project site and client meetings as required

3+ years experience in control and show design
Expert in either 3D drafting in either Vectorworks or AutoCAD
Working knowledge of theatrical control design
Understanding of the creative process
Must be able to read architectural blueprints and interpret electrical drawings
Strong understanding of current technology and industry standards for all aspects of control design
Ability to work flexible hours
nights, weekends, holidays
Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or G Suite
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
