Role Overview
- Manage and monitor geophysical data acquisition by field geophysicists
- Perform geophysical data processing and analysis for traditional digital geophysical mapping surveys and AGC mapping surveys
- Serve as a mentor and provide technical guidance to practice area professional staff
- Design and implement geophysical investigation plans for munitions response
- Select and utilize various types of geophysical instruments
- Prepare planning documents such as Munitions Response Quality Assurance Project Plans (MR-QAPP)
- Conduct site visits as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in geophysics, geology or closely related field
- 6 years of directly related munitions response geophysical experience and/or a demonstrated equivalence of experience and education
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Must be US Citizens or permanent residents
- Experience and proficiency utilizing Geosoft Oasis montaj UXO Land module
- Experience and proficiency utilizing Geosoft Oasis montaj UX-Analyze module
- Master’s degree in geophysics, geology, or closely related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with all current MMRP guidance
