Support the Outdoor Experience Manager in the development, administration, and delivery of outdoor programs, camps, and adventure challenges.
This includes supporting curriculum design, preparing camp materials, tracking camper registrations and payments, collecting required forms, and traveling regionally as needed to support in-person program delivery.
Support the Girl Program Manager in the development, administration, and delivery of girl programs and regional events, including in-person program support through regional travel.
Support the Highest Awards program through administrative coordination and virtual coaching for participants.
Assist the Adult Development Manager with volunteer onboarding, training, and recognition.
Provide administrative support for volunteer training, support the revision of training materials, and travel regionally as needed to support in-person training delivery.
Deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to participants.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards for all activities.
Collect, analyze, and report quantitative and qualitative data to assess the success of programs and determine areas for improvement.
Adhere to the Girl Scout Law and Promise.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Education, Recreation, Non-Profit Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilitating outdoor programs or similar roles, ideally in an international or multicultural context which can include volunteer experience.
Knowledge of safety standards, risk management, and outdoor industry standards for outdoor and adventure activities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; English fluency required.
Experience working with volunteers and diverse teams.
