Responsible for ongoing maintenance and repair of contracted and non-contracted generator and power distribution equipment
Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects
Daily travel with independent work structure
Provide 24x7 'on-call' services as required unless on PTO or Off Call
Perform required preventative maintenance service to equipment under contract as scheduled
Customer contact and interface
Maintain and safeguard company issued equipment, tools, and instruments
Battery installations and replacements
Coordinate and manage on-site subcontractors hired by PSS

Three years of field experience servicing generator systems
Experience with 500kw+ generators
Proficient with preventative maintenance
Experience retrofitting basic controls, minor ATS repairs, and loadbanking equipment
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Related military experience or equivalent field experience
Ability to perform triennial maintenance
Engine diagnostics, fuel system priming, replacing failed engine components
Operational understanding of Automatic Transfer Systems
Able to troubleshoot and repair with minimal direction
Ability to read and decipher electronic schematics
Experience with advanced generator and electric system controls including Woodward, Beckwith, and PLC equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, safety manuals, and service manuals
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts
Must observe all safety standards
