Merchant Services Credit Analyst I

Role Overview

• Makes credit request decisions according to relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines
• Conducts appropriate analyses to decision deals, as applicable
• Clearly and professionally communicates with internal colleagues and customers/clients
• Expands expertise by reviewing policy and procedure thoroughly and actively participating in continuing education sessions
• Collaborates with peers to manage optimal workflow
• Identifies and escalates process breakdowns

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer contact center
• Experience in Commercial or Small Business lending/underwriting
• Previous lending experience/lending authority
• Knowledge of credit reports and bureaus
• Ability to work effectively in a time sensitive environment
• Ability to identify and elevate issues to management
• Professional oral and written communication skills
