Role Overview
- Conduct virtual psychological assessments for entry-level and lateral Federal Wildlife Officer candidates.
- Administer, interpret, and review standardized psychological tests and interviews.
- Evaluate candidates for clinical psychopathology, emotional regulation, judgment, stress tolerance, substance abuse tendencies, and other behavioral risk indicators.
- Identify qualified candidates likely to succeed in high-demand law enforcement environments.
- Provide written individual psychological evaluation reports and hiring recommendations to the USFWS within specified deadlines.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field (PhD or PsyD).
- Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of practice.
- Experience conducting law enforcement psychological evaluations is preferred.
