Support day-to-day financial operations and contribute to accounting records integrity
Build relationships within the Accounting team and key internal partners
Understand Evolv’s accounting policies, processes, systems, and internal controls
Take ownership of month-end close tasks, including account reconciliations and journal entries
Ensure timely execution of SOX controls and assist with technical accounting matters
Contribute to preparation and review of SEC filings
Demonstrate grasp of SOX control framework and provide guidance to peers
Approach challenges with curiosity and a solution-oriented mindset

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Up to 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience; Big 4 and/or public company experience preferred but not required.
CPA or CPA track is a plus, but not required.
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus).
Experience working in a SOX-compliant environment through a public accounting firm or publicly traded company preferred
Experience serving as a point of contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
