Senior Program Quality Engineer

Role Overview

• Serve as a key member of the program execution team, ensuring successful program performance by ensuring conforming products and services through effective collaboration and compliance with processes and procedures
• Assess technical risks of non-conformance utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills
• Review change requests to assess technical impact
• Support and provide oversight for failure investigations and nonconformance reviews
• Plan and coordinate technical assessments and corrective actions
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and customers to ensure alignment and ensure customer requirements are met
• Drive compliance with the Raytheon Quality Management System while driving continuous improvement
• Initiate and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability
• Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable.

Requirements

• Typically requires Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM)
• minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Operations
• Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
• Demonstrated experience in providing quality technical expertise to ensure effective design/development and/or manufacturing results
• Active and transferable Secret or higher U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
