Determine assessment and controls organizational objectives
Provide strategic guidance for Customs import and export declaration controls monitoring
Implement and oversee customs process documentation, aligning stakeholders to achieve results
Collaborate with other members of the organization to verify compliance and adherence to released company-wide policies and procedures
Leverage Trade Regulation expertise, knowledge of regulators’ intent, and understanding of RTX’s core business processes to ensure controls and recommended corrective actions yield a balanced risk portfolio
Develop and deliver training
Identify and report any potential violations of trade compliance laws and compliance violations
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 8 years prior relevant Customs and/or Global Trade experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Licensed Customs Broker / Certified Customs Specialist / or demonstrated experience in these areas
Experience in CFR19 U.S. Customs regulations with experience in any of these areas; HS Classification, Free Trade Agreement qualification, Customs Valuations, Country of Origin determination
