Ensure that mortgage and equity loan documents are complete and accurate according to GNMA, FNMA, FHLMC, federal, state, investor and NFCU guidelines and requirements
Review and validate full loan package post-closing, includes items related to the loan such as income documents, appraisals, other miscellaneous documents
Identify and correct errors that may affect guaranty of loan and/or impact audit to prevent fines/penalties
Coordinate changes, revisions and corrections with other mortgage staff, closing agents and vendors
Record, track, monitor documentation issues and productivity
Work under general supervision. Perform basic/routine tasks with basic research/review.
Requirements
Exposure to mortgage lending principles, concepts and practices including mortgage processing, servicing and underwriting
Exposure to reviewing/analyzing loans for compliance with Federal/state/county/NCUA/ laws, regulations and policies
Familiarity with financial institution and lending practices, principles and regulations
Experience in an accounting or banking operation, preferably dealing with payments, transactions, and balancing
Experience in member/customer service preferably in a call center/retail banking/financial institution
Familiarity with mortgage and equity (Conventional) guidelines
Familiarity with mortgage/equity loan processing, closing, and documentation requirements and regulations
Exposure to managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
