Review and analyze escrow account reconciliations submitted by title agents.
Compare financial records to identify discrepancies, unusual activity, or areas of potential risk.
Prepare detailed audit reports and document findings.
Communicate observations and recommendations to agents and internal management.
Identify outstanding premium or search revenue reflected in reconciliations.
Assist with audits of prospective and terminated title agents.
Partner with internal teams to support compliance and financial integrity.
Develop a strong understanding of escrow accounting and title insurance operations through on-the-job training.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field or currently enrolled in an accounting or finance program with relevant coursework completed.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (Preferred).
Completion of accounting coursework, including Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Auditing, or similar classes (Preferred).
Internship, bookkeeping, banking, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, or other accounting-related experience (Preferred).
