Role Overview
- Responsible for creating complete project QA/QC plans, resourcing plans, and QA/QC budgets/proposals
- Conduct on-site/job site training, coaching, and auditing of job site QA/QC activities
- Develops and improves QA/QC processes, systems, and standard documents
- Provides guidance to project managers and project teams with timelines and client/project specific requirements
- Creates relational data sets from project construction drawings, electrical specifications, and submittals
- Outlines, guides, and mentors team of engineers
- Ensures that detailed procedures, checklists and QA/QC plans are accurate and appropriate for the task
- Designs new QA/QC programs by analyzing requirements and constructing workflow charts and diagrams
- Provides guidance to office and field teams to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
- Leads the development of systems, strategies and plans to achieve project QA/QC requirements
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering Technology Degree
- Experience: 8 years of related experience.
- Experience working with Hyperscale data center construction, electrical construction, and/or managing of small teams preferred.
- Travel: 0-30%
- Understanding and experience in data center construction is a requirement
- ideally have the ability to understand one-lines, schematics & drawings
- knowledge of electrical terminology and components.
