About this role
Role Overview
Analyze special situations market trends, portfolio developments, and investment case studies to craft clear, compelling, and accurate content used across marketing materials and reporting.
Produce and update pitchbooks, PPM sections, Due Diligence Questionnaires and client reports, leveraging data tools and increasingly AI-driven workflows.
Draft tailored, high-quality written responses to client requests, including ad-hoc client and RFP submissions.
Work closely with the special opportunities investment and sales teams to maintain deep familiarity with product positioning, recent transactions, valuations, and portfolio activity.
Support new product fundraising launches.
Prepare targeted content for client events, including investor calls, external conferences, and education-focused initiatives.
Take ownership of defined projects that support the growth and development of the global Special Opportunities content function and best practices and standards within the team.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and demonstrated success in a similar role in the financial industry: investment banking, financial advisory, management consulting, or experience in the investment management industry is a plus.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, finance, or related field.
A strong understanding of and interest in private markets, credit or special situations investing, and associated trends.
Excellent ability with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, with a strong foundation of project management skills.
Strong writing skills, flawless command of written English and a solid understanding of the financial industry/private markets.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work within a matrix organization with numerous stakeholders and a global team that is spread out across several offices.
Passionate, highly motivated with a proven ability to handle high workload with no errors.
