About this role
Role Overview
Own the structure, accuracy, and governance of module BOMs, Electrical Balance of Plant (EBOP) BOMs, Mechanical Balance of Plant BOMs, and service and as-built BOMs.
Implement and maintain BOMs within the D365 ERP system to support operational accuracy and control.
Monitor planned engineering and supplier product updates and assess their impact on Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Cost Accounting, and Service.
Lead the process, system, and manufacturing data updates required to support planned changes while helping to maintain continuity, product quality, and cost efficiency.
Enforce change control protocols and ensure operational bills of material and item settings are accurate and ready to support procurement, production, and financial planning.
Evaluate operational BOM and item configurations and drive improvements that increase efficiency, enable automation, reduce risk, support best practices, and facilitate scale-up.
Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration by providing direction and support to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Cost Accounting, and Service teams.
Identify and mitigate risks related to material and process changes, scale-up activities, and systems improvement initiatives.
Support issue resolution and promote alignment with company standard operating procedures.
Define and support the implementation of key metrics, process controls, reporting tools, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean best practices.
Maintain process documentation and support organizational changes and operational transitions as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, configuration management, or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience with ERP and/or PLM systems, with D365 experience preferred.
Strong understanding of how operations, systems, and manufacturing environments interact.
Advanced knowledge of systems, tools, and process improvement methods that enhance productivity.
Project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and blueprints.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, routings, and cost roll-ups.
Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
Customer-focused approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
