Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs.
Analyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs.
Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team.
Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise.
Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews.
Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed.
Design system components and delegate responsibilities to team members.

6+ years of experience in applications development utilizing ANSI C, Linux, Perl, and related scripting technologies.
Demonstrated expertise with relational database systems, including data‑modeling principles and development using Oracle and/or SQL Server.
Experience in healthcare information technology is required.
Exposure to financial or banking systems is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of Healthcare Management Systems.
Understanding of accounting workflows, including ledger‑based processes.
Proven ability to lead, direct, and guide team members in a collaborative technical environment.
Ability to facilitate application design and assume ownership of application components within a large‑scale Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).
