About this role
Role Overview
You will actively build our new business with insurers and health players in the DACH region.
You open doors, win new logos, and hand over well-prepared projects to our delivery teams.
You work with clear pipeline responsibility and a defined annual target.
Independently build, develop and expand new business with new customers as well as selected existing customers in the DACH region.
Identify, qualify and actively develop business opportunities across various industries with a focus on complex data, analytics and AI solutions.
Establish new customer relationships and develop strategic accounts including revenue responsibility.
Identify relevant buying centers and target technical and management decision-makers up to C-level.
Plan, manage and execute all new business development activities, including structured lead generation.
Responsible for the entire sales cycle – from first contact through needs analysis, pitch, proposal creation and tenders to contract negotiation and closing.
Develop account roadmaps as well as sales and business plans for sustainable market development.
Advise customers on data, analytics and AI use cases and translate customer requirements into concrete solution approaches.
Work closely with consultants, data scientists, architects and delivery teams to develop tailored customer solutions.
Deliver company, solution and project presentations as well as sales pitches to customers.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events and networking events.
Ensure a seamless project handover to the delivery teams and promote high customer satisfaction.
Maintain, document and forecast all sales-related activities in the CRM system (HubSpot).
Requirements
Degree in business, engineering, computer science or a comparable field; alternatively, relevant sales experience with proven success.
Several years of experience in B2B new business sales of complex, consultative solutions, ideally in consulting, IT, data or AI environments.
Experience in consultative selling of complex data, cloud or AI projects as well as industry knowledge in insurance, banking, health or industry.
Proven track record in building new business and managing complex sales cycles.
Existing network with relevant decision-makers in the DACH market.
Solid understanding of data & AI solutions, particularly data analytics, machine learning, generative AI and large language models (LLMs).
Strong analytical and conceptual skills to capture customer requirements and develop suitable solution approaches.
Confident stakeholder management at technical, management and C-level.
Experience managing proposal processes, tenders and contract negotiations.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in German and English.
Willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region.
