Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS/Azure Kubernetes Migration

Role Overview

• Manage Kubernetes platforms in Azure and AWS
• Support activities for the migration from Azure/Azure DevOps pipelines to AWS/GitHub Actions
• Lead the design, build, refactor, and maintenance of infrastructure across Azure and AWS

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure experience
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm and/or Kustomize
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services required for Kubernetes-based workloads
• Solid hands-on experience with Azure services commonly involved in application migration
• Expert-level Terraform experience
• Expert-level experience with GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating JupyterHub and JupyterLab at scale on Kubernetes
• Practical understanding of data and storage migration activities
• Strong understanding of cloud and Kubernetes networking
• Strong security mindset
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting in Kubernetes and cloud environments
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash
