Lead the design and implementation of modern data platforms, analytics environments, and data integration architectures for federal clients, with a focus on Palantir Foundry solution architecture and interoperability with existing enterprise data tools.
Serve as a technical leader across pre-sales, delivery, and innovation efforts—partnering with Capability Leads, client stakeholders, and delivery teams to bring data-driven solutions to life.
Design end-to-end big data architectures across cloud implementations of Foundry, including data lakes, pipelines, warehouses, and analytics platforms; apply Foundry’s open architecture principles to ensure interoperability with existing IT systems and meet organizational and compliance requirements.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technical solutions.
Guide the selection and implementation of modern data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Delta Lake, Apache NiFi, Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, and Magritte connectors, etc.).
Act as a trusted advisor to government clients on data modernization strategies.
Support delivery teams in resolving complex data integration and transformation challenges, including decomposing use cases and requirements into Foundry implementation components and identifying solution patterns and workarounds where needed.
Requirements
7+ years of experience architecting and implementing big data solutions in complex environments; experience with enterprise data platforms such as Palantir Foundry is strongly preferred.
Hands-on expertise in at least three of the following: Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Hadoop, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Apache NiFi, Delta Lake, Palantir Foundry.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles, including Foundry’s ontology-based data model and delivering reliable data products from source to discovery.
Experience working with federal agencies or large-scale enterprise data environments.
Ability to lead technical engagements and present solutions to executive stakeholders.
Eligibility to obtain US Government Security Clearance.
Experience with DoD or Navy-specific data systems or environments (preferred).
Familiarity with security and compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST) and Foundry’s shared security responsibility model and privacy and civil liberty (PCL) standards.
