Act as the key link between business experts and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear, structured requirements and pseudocode for implementation.
Define and articulate product objectives, scope, and constraints, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term strategy.
Contribute to backlog prioritization, write user stories and acceptance criteria in tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, and support developers throughout the implementation phase.
Analyze, model, and optimize business processes, recommending improvements and ensuring efficient, scalable solutions.
Design and execute regression testing strategies, validate releases, and proactively identify risks and impacts of changes on the product.
Facilitate communication across stakeholders, manage expectations, and deliver clear updates through presentations and documentation in tools like Confluence.
Encourage best practices, support experimentation, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Coach and guide other Business Analysts, contributing to knowledge sharing and capability growth at organizational level.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments
Strong understanding of business context and ability to translate it into technical requirements
Experience in the Insurance industry
Proven experience working in Agile environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, or similar
Knowledge of databases and hands-on experience with SQL/MySQL
Good understanding of SDLC and process modelling techniques
Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Fluency in German and English.
