Role Overview
Lead the development and execution of Gentrack's portfolio positioning and messaging framework.
Define how individual products, platform capabilities, and strategic investments connect into a cohesive portfolio story.
Translate product strategy into clear customer-facing value propositions.
Ensure consistency of positioning, messaging, and terminology across the organisation.
Drive portfolio-level differentiation against competitors and emerging market offerings.
Become a key partner in shaping how Gentrack communicates its AI strategy, platform investments, and innovation roadmap.
Translate complex AI, data, and platform capabilities into clear business outcomes for customers.
Develop messaging around predictive intelligence, AI-assisted operations, automation, and agentic workflows.
Partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders to ensure technical innovations are effectively communicated to the market.
Help establish Gentrack as a thought leader in operational AI for utilities.
Develop sales enablement materials, solution narratives, battlecards, presentations, and customer-facing collateral.
Create sales tools, executive presentations, solution narratives, battlecards, customer collateral, and launch materials.
Support strategic product launches and portfolio announcements.
Collaborate with regional teams to ensure global consistency while supporting local market needs.
Monitor industry trends, customer priorities, regulatory developments, and competitive positioning.
Develop competitive intelligence frameworks and market analysis.
Identify emerging opportunities and risks that may impact portfolio strategy.
Translate market insights into recommendations for Product and Executive Leadership teams.
Support analyst relations activities and industry briefings.
Develop strategic narratives for analyst presentations and market evaluations.
Contribute to thought leadership content, industry events, conferences, and customer forums.
Help shape Gentrack's market perception through consistent and differentiated messaging.
Partner closely with Product Management to understand roadmap priorities and strategic investments.
Work with Engineering and Architecture leaders to understand platform capabilities and future innovation.
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to understand customer needs and market feedback.
Act as a strategic advisor on messaging, positioning, and portfolio communication.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, Product Management, or related roles within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
Proven experience positioning complex software platforms, cloud solutions, data platforms, or AI-enabled products.
Experience developing portfolio-level messaging rather than solely feature-level product marketing.
Track record working closely with Product Management and Engineering organisations.
Experience supporting enterprise sales organisations and strategic customer engagements.
Strong ability to connect technology investments to customer and business outcomes.
Experience developing value propositions, positioning frameworks, and go-to-market strategies.
Deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive positioning, and customer buying behaviour.
Ability to operate effectively across both strategic and tactical initiatives.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a good design eye.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives.
Experience creating executive-level presentations, thought leadership content, and customer-facing materials.
Strong storytelling capabilities that resonate with both business and technical audiences.
Understanding of enterprise software, cloud platforms, data platforms, analytics, and AI technologies.
Familiarity with Generative AI, AI-assisted workflows, predictive intelligence, and automation trends.
Experience within Utilities, Energy, Water, Telecommunications, or other complex enterprise industries.
