DevOps and QA Engineer – Infrastructure, Quality for Safety-Critical Software

Role Overview

• Build and manage our sovereign cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Design and optimize our CI/CD pipelines (e.g., with GitHub Actions) for a fully automated build, test, and deployment chain
• Implement a comprehensive test strategy and develop automated test frameworks (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests)
• Implement a holistic monitoring system (e.g., with Prometheus, Grafana) for proactive system health and performance monitoring
• Integrate security scans and compliance checks into the pipeline ("Security-by-Design")

Requirements

• A degree in computer science or a related field
• Proven experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or QA automation engineer
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC tools
• Solid knowledge of common test frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Pytest) and scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash)
• A strong "automate everything" mindset and an unwavering commitment to quality
• Fluent in English and German
