Senior Civil 3D CADD Designer

Role Overview

• Lead the creation of construction drawings for utility infrastructure projects
• Utilize Civil 3D for surface modeling, utility alignments, profiles, and site grading design
• Develop detailed plan and profile drawings
• Perform self-checks and peer reviews to ensure design accuracy
• Manage and track document revisions
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in design review meetings
• Contribute to enhancing CADD workflows and tools
• Serve as the primary CADD resource for assigned projects
• Guide junior team members

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in "Engineering Computer Aided Design", or a related field (or extensive experience in lieu)
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in Civil 3D design
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, experience with Bluebeam Revu, Adobe products, Microsoft Office Suite; Autodesk Certification is a plus
• Soft Skills: Self-motivated, excellent communicator, strong organizational skills
• Additional Requirements: Strong familiarity with civil engineering design criteria, codes and standards
