Following a series of strategic acquisitions, Defaqto is bringing together multiple adviser technology products into one unified proposition: Defaqto Unity. This is a highly strategic role where you’ll influence senior stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and help shape both the Unity proposition and the broader Defaqto brand.

Requirements

Qualifications / Training

• Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field (or equivalent experience) Knowledge
• Strong understanding of B2B SaaS go-to-market strategy
• Knowledge of positioning, segmentation and proposition development
• Familiarity with the UK financial adviser market is advantageous
• Understanding of brand architecture and multi-product environments Skills
• Ability to develop positioning and messaging from first principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Highly structured thinker, comfortable managing complex programmes Experience
• 7+ years’ experience in product marketing or a similar strategic marketing role
• Proven track record of leading go-to-market strategy for complex propositions or product launches
• Experience of working across multiple products, particularly in post-acquisition environments
• Exposure to brand development or rebranding initiatives Approach to work
• Highly autonomous and proactive
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information
• Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
• Collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence
