Conduct targeted funding research to identify, evaluate, and curate high-value opportunities tailored to each client’s profile.
Lead seamless customer onboarding meetings and build proactive relationships across the GrantPilot ecosystem.
Communicate through phone, email, and video with warmth, clarity, and commercial confidence.
Become fluent in our product, customer profile, and nonprofit funding landscape so you can connect needs to outcomes.
Collaborate with Product and Sales to improve onboarding, engagement, and the customer experience.
Maintain accurate data and activity tracking in HubSpot and our broader tech stack.
Share customer insights that help refine our sales process, product experience, and go-to-market motion.
Build and iterate the GrantPilot sales playbook, turning early experiments and customer insights into clear, repeatable processes.
Deliver a concierge-level experience from first touch to handover, making every interaction feel useful, tailored, and genuinely valuable.
Requirements
1+ year of professional experience in sales, support, fundraising, partnerships, or another customer-facing role.
Experience managing a high-volume pipeline and engaging prospects across phone, email, and video.
Strong discovery skills, with the ability to ask good questions, listen closely, and spot where we can genuinely help.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to clarity, tone, and follow-through.
Strong research skills, with the ability to identify relevant funding opportunities and turn information into clear recommendations.
A customer-first mindset and the judgment to make every interaction feel useful, tailored, and human.
A self-starter mindset; comfortable with ambiguity, fast-paced change, and experimentation.
Commercial confidence, with the ability to balance empathy, pace, and clear qualification.
A genuine passion for helping nonprofits succeed and curiosity about technology, fundraising, and social impact.
An interest in how AI and technology can help small teams achieve more without losing the human touch.
