The successful candidate will act as the bridge between clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring customer requirements are translated into scalable and effective solutions.
Lead client discovery sessions, requirements gathering workshops, and solution refinement discussions.
Analyse and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
Perform impact assessments and evaluate dependencies across systems, integrations, and operational processes.
Translate business requirements into clear specifications for Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams.
Analyse APIs, file specifications, transaction flows, and payment messaging protocols, including ISO 8583.
Query and analyse transaction, merchant, and product-related data to support solution design and impact assessments.
Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and release planning activities.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout project delivery and implementation phases.
Lead stakeholder workshops both remotely and on-site when required.
Maintain accurate project and support documentation.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience within the card payments industry
Proven hands-on experience within card issuing, merchant acquiring, payment processing, card schemes, or related payment technology environments
Strong understanding of card payments ecosystems, transaction lifecycles, and payment processing platforms
Extensive experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, and impact analysis
Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and client-facing engagements independently
Strong knowledge of APIs, file specifications, and payment messaging standards such as ISO 8583
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
Experience supporting SIT, UAT, production releases, and change management activities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
