About this role
Role Overview
Day-to-day support of regional field operations team and management of dealer facing regional administrative functions, inclusive of DDO/Inventory/Vehicle logistics, MBEP/MCVP/ABP, Vehicle Incentives and Aftersales Operations.
Responsible for answering inquiries from dealers on policies, procedures and processes, inclusive of warranty questions, labor rate and parts markup increases.
Provide exceptional service to the Mazda dealer network.
Collaborate with region leadership and field team to identify opportunities to optimize dealer performance, spearhead program administration, analyze and report on key metrics, manage department budget, and ensure effective communications between management, field, and dealers.
Develop regular Region to Dealer communications for respective assigned area: Aftersales, Incentives, Sales Planning, Parts Sales or Mazda Program Generalist.
Manage proper messaging, timing, activities, and effective administration of assigned area.
Program and performance monitoring of Regional Operations initiatives that focus on/measure dealer performance and business planning.
Assist annual, quarterly, and monthly regional projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
Prior work experience in a customer facing role or internship preferred.
Experience in a sales related role using a consultative approach.
Understanding of automotive mechanics and industry terminology preferred, but not required.
Experience with an automotive OEM in a corporate, region or field role with understanding of an OEM/dealership relationship preferred.
Automotive or relevant industry experience in fixed operations, i.e. experience in a service or parts related role working for a repair shop, parts store, parts or accessories supplier, etc. preferred.
Must be analytical and a problem solver with the ability to identify problems and/or cause-effect relationships; identify key issues; secure relevant information from all appropriate sources; identify possible root causes of problems and develop and implement corrective actions for resolution.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing and business systems (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.
Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and/or direction.
