Lead and develop the long-term, multi-year software and platform roadmap for PC3000, translating leadership-defined strategy into actionable features, epics, and release plans.
Own the end-to-end software platform direction—hypervisor strategy, container enablement, and cloud management (Morpheus)—ensuring architectural coherence and market competitiveness.
Make informed, opinionated decisions on software platform direction that expand the customer footprint and drive PC3000 business growth.
Translate business needs into well-scoped feature requirements that directly support revenue growth, competitive positioning, and customer retention.
Continuously evaluate competitive landscape—including VMware/Broadcom, Nutanix, Azure Stack, Red Hat, and others—and incorporate competitive intelligence into roadmap priorities.
Interface with component product teams, including HPE Morpheus, to drive PC3000 software strategy and requirements into those teams' backlogs and delivery plans.
Guide cross-functional core teams toward a shared understanding of business requirements, platform strategy, and delivery priorities.
Manage hypervisor and container platform implementation across engineering, architecture, QA, and operations teams.
Serve as the central coordination point between PC3000 product management and component product organizations (Morpheus, ProLiant, Alletra, networking).
Requirements
10+ years of experience in product management, platform strategy, or technical leadership roles within enterprise infrastructure or cloud environments.
Senior-level product management experience with demonstrated ability to own and execute platform-scale strategy.
Deep, hands-on experience with VMware platforms, including VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF), VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), and the Aria suite.
Strong competitive intelligence across enterprise infrastructure—including Nutanix, Microsoft Azure Stack, Red Hat OpenShift / Virtualization, and comparable platforms.
Proven ability to translate business strategy into feature-level requirements and multi-year roadmaps.
Self-driven problem solver who operates with high autonomy and brings solutions—not problems—to leadership.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present confidently to audiences from technical IT staff to Director/VP-level executives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
