Responsible for payroll, benefits, pension, lease, and expense accounting
Manage end-to-end accounting cycle for payroll and employee benefits
Ensure payroll transactions are accurately recorded and reflected in general ledger
Prepare and manage payroll and benefits forecast
Perform weekly and monthly payroll analysis
Record and analyse actuarial valuations for pension plan
Manage lease accounting including initial recognition of right-of-use assets and lease liabilities
Oversee employee expense cycle at a regional level
Manage accounting of prepaid expenses
Manage period-end close and reconciliation process
Support audit and compliance activities
Drive process improvements and strengthening of internal controls

5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong knowledge of Mexican GAAP (NIF) including NIF D-3
Familiarity with US GAAP (ASC 715) for employee benefits and pension accounting
Solid understanding of accounting cycles, accruals, and financial close processes
Experience with ERP and reporting systems (preferably SAP and OneStream)
Advanced Excel skills (data analysis and reconciliations)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
